OUR STORY

At TITANA, we believe that every woman who wears one of our belts should know exactly where it comes from, how it’s made, and who made it. Each belt is a piece of living heritage, handwoven by female artisans in the remote highlands of Alta Verapaz, Guatemala, using the ancestral technique of backstrap loom weaving.

These women begin learning to weave at a very young age, not only to support their families, but also to keep their Mayan traditions alive. We partner with them directly, offering fair wages that allow them to improve their lives, invest in their children’s futures, and uplift their entire communities.

We don’t just sell accessories — we share stories of resilience, craftsmanship, and culture. Our goal is to create a deeper connection between maker and wearer, where each belt is a symbol of empowerment, dignity, and shared humanity. By wearing TITANA, you’re not only embracing artisanal beauty — you're helping preserve a powerful legacy.
