DISCOVER THE STORY OF TITANA

Titana Belts was born from a story marked by deep roots between Spain and Guatemala. My parents emigrated from Spain to Guatemala in 1969 in search of new opportunities. My sisters and I were born there, and the legacy of my father’s tireless work remained there as well—his example of life is another history that should be told one day……..

At the age of 10, I returned to Spain with my family, where I was able to grow up close to my grandparents and continue my studies. Later on, I married and lived in different countries while raising my three children. However, every time the opportunity arose to return to Guatemala, my heart always guided me back.

Since childhood, I have deeply admired craftsmanship and handmade work. The women in my family—my grandmothers and my mother—were my inspiration: dedicated women, creators, detail-oriented, and full of good taste. They planted in me a love for authenticity and for things made with soul.

With that inspiration, Titana Belts was born: a project that seeks to support Guatemalan women artisans talented, hardworking, creative, and above all, mothers striving to thrive. Our goal is to serve as a bridge between their ancestral knowledge rich in technique, history, color, and meaning and an international audience that values craftsmanship and seeks to incorporate it into their brands in a fair and respectful way.
